Objectives

The WSVCC platform aims to achieve four main objectives:

1. To strengthen HK as a technology Hub of Wireless Applications & Services for Mainland by providing an effective gateway for Hong Kong technology providers to tap into the Mainland market
   
   
2. To create a value chain cooperation model for HK wireless application developers to disseminate their products in Mainland by providing synergy effect between Application Developers, WTIA, HKWDC, SP Licensees, Telecom Operators, Mainland and HK authorities
   
   
3. To provide technical consultancy and business support for HK developers to explore the market in Mainland by providing essential business and technical support for the wireless developers
   
   
4. To foster partnership, networking and cooperation among HK and Mainland wireless technology practitioners through conferences, networking events, application road shows, showcases, and business matching activities
   

It aims to position Hong Kong as a regional hub of wireless and mobile applications in Asia Pacific so as to attract investments and talents from around the world, building up the Hong Kong mobile & wireless application technology industry.
