Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and its affiliated organization, Hong Kong Wireless Development Centre (HKWDC) has established a Wireless Services Value Chain Cooperation (WSVCC) platform in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) of Mainland China. This project aims to reinforce the collaboration in the area of mobile & wireless technology, to optimize effectiveness and productivity for Hong Kong wireless industries, as well as to disseminate the awareness and development of Hong Kong wireless application technology in Mainland China.
During the two-year project period, a PRD centre with exhibition area will be established. The PRD centre and exhibition area will act as a PRD regional office to showcase Hong Kong's innovative mobile & wireless applications. It also helps to coordinate telecom operators and related government affiliations so as to facilitate the dissemination of Hong Kong wireless applications in China. Furthermore, content localization services equip with both hardware and technical support will be provided to simplify the launching process of wireless SMEs' applications in China.
To ride on this setup, a series of marketing & promotion activities will be provided concurrently with the operation of the exhibition area in order to fully enhance this objective. |
